About Dr. Stein
Dr. David Stein is a developmental neuropsychologist specializing in assessment of children, teens, and adults. Dr. Stein has many years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults through his work at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, in various schools, and as the Founder and Director of New England Neurodevelopment. Dr. Stein completed his undergraduate education at Tufts University, his doctorate at William James College, and his clinical training through Harvard Medical School at the Cambridge Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Stein also completed a 2-year post-doctoral apprenticeship/supervised practice in clinical neuropsychology and Marquette University's human neuroanatomy course.
Dr. Stein is well-versed and experienced in working with medical providers, independent schools, school systems, colleges, and educational institutions. This allows Dr. Stein and our team at NEN to make practical and meaningful recommendations that are understood and accepted by educational and treatment teams.

About Bethany Colavincenzo, Ed.M.
Bethany Colavincenzo, Ed.M. is an educational specialist with expertise in assessment of learning and neurodevelopmental disorders. She is a former classroom teacher who, after receiving her master’s degree in education, served as an Educational Specialist in the Developmental Medicine Center at Children's Hospital Boston for three years. Bethany has worked with children and adolescents as a tutor and organizational aide, and she spent two years working on educational reform and policy for a child advocacy non-profit in Washington D.C. She also maintained a private practice for educational consulting and assessment prior to joining New England Neurodevelopment.
Bethany has significant experience in assessment of children with ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and medical and genetic disorders. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Duke University and a Master's in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she was the recipient of the merit-based Leadership in Education Award.

About Kristina Ruggeri, MS, CAGS
Kristina Ruggeri, MS, CAGS, is a third-year school psychology doctoral candidate at the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Boston. She received her master’s in science and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Northeastern University. Kristina is a nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP). Upon graduation, Kristina began her career as a school psychologist and team chair. These experiences inspired her to pursue her doctoral degree in school psychology. Kristina has completed practicums and internships across settings, including public school settings, special education school settings, and hospital settings. Kristina has also completed a practicum experience in the McLean-Franciscan Children's Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) Unit. Currently, Kristina is performing neuropsychological assessment for children and adults at the Neuropsychological Assessment Clinic. She hopes to continue to support the mental health needs of youth from a systems level perspective, while also having the opportunity to advocate for their individual needs through neuropsychological evaluations.

About Maddy Gerson, M.S.
Madeleine Gerson, M.S., is a testing assistant at NEN and a fourth-year clinical psychology doctoral candidate at the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. Madeleine graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. In graduate school, Madeleine has completed internships at the Gronowski Center in Palo Alto, CA, and the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) in a school-based setting. Madeleine has worked for Stanford’s BRIDGE lab as a graduate research assistant, providing assessments for children and families. In addition to her work at NEN, Madeleine will be completing an advanced practicum at Franciscan Children's Hospital in the Behavioral Health Services outpatient department this upcoming year.
